MDH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL MODEL UNITED NATIONS
MDH International School, Janakpuri successfully organised the Second Edition of the Model United Nations Conference (MUN 2025) on 14th October 2025. The event brought together enthusiastic delegates from Classes VI TO VIII who represented various nations and engaged in meaningful discussions on global challenges.
The MUN provided a vibrant platform for students to develop leadership, diplomacy, and communication skills while debating crucial international issues. Participants proposed innovative solutions, collaborated effectively, and gained valuable insights into the working of the United Nations.
The conference comprised of four committees — FAO, WHO, UNSC, and UNESCO — where delegates debated on topics such as Global Food Security, Public Health Crises, International Peace and Security, and the Preservation of Cultural Heritage. Each committee witnessed dynamic debates, thoughtful resolutions, and excellent teamwork.
The programme was a resounding success. Our respected Headmistress, Mrs. Simran Kaur, felicitated the winners and applauded all participants for their dedication and enthusiasm. She highlighted that such events provide a gateway to global exposure and foster awareness about international cooperation and peace building among students.
MUN 2025 proved to be an enriching and inspiring experience, empowering students to become confident speakers, critical thinkers, and responsible global citizens.
